CRAFT CLUB
Craft Club is a space for children ages 6-12 to gather, get messy, and explore the wonderful world of arts & crafts! Hosted by local artists and childcare professional Lee Diamond, this is time for connecting to joy through creative expression. Each Craft club session will have a specific focus with general instruction, and so much space for students to create autonomously and explore their own unique process.
Craft Club is kicking off this summer on June 24th!
This class will be hosted each Wednesday throughout the summer from 1pm - 3pm, and tickets are available for individual purchase or in discounted books.

Summer Craft Club:
June 24th

Ages 6-12
Explore the fundamentals of sewing and embroidery. Learn basic stitches and spend time exploring how to use them in different ways.
July 1st
1PM - 3PM
Ages 6-12
Explore the fundamentals of jewelry making. Learn beading patterns, knots, and make sculptural rings and bracelets out of recycled materials.
July 29th

Ages 6-12
Explore the art of stamp making! We’ll use sponges, potatoes, flowers, and more to make personal stamps that are completely unique.
August 19th

Ages 6-12

Learn to make a zine! We will cut, assemble, and fill small self-published pieces of literature and art handmade without rules, expectations, or templates.

Play with the beautifully sustainable practice of up-cycling! Students will start with a basic thrifted shirt and learn to embellish, adorn, modify, and make it their own special creation.

Explore collage, a sustainable art form that exercises the creative process of finding pictures, colors, textures, words, and anything that inspires from books and magazines and putting them together into a brand new creation.
August 12th

Ages 6-12
Make art with your trash! Recycled materials are so versatile. In this class, we will build cardboard houses, make shrinky dinks, form stamps out of common household item, and learn about the importance of recycling in your own home.
August 5th

Ages 6-12
Mixed media is all about playful creative expression, and we’ll get messy and wild in this class! Students will use paint, paper, cardboard, stickers, and really anything they can find to create personal and playful art.

Things to Know

Craft Club fees are refundable if cancellation is made at least 10 days or more before class begins, less a 10% cancellation fee. After 10 days prior, class fees can be applied to future classes.

Drop-off begins 15 minutes before class starts, and students should be picked up by 15 minutes after class ends. A 30 minute extended drop-off or pick-up is available for a $10 fee payable in studio.

You will be given a waiver at your first drop off that will include space to disclose all allergies or necessary medical information. Our studio is nut free and we have gluten free snacks on hand for hunger emergencies. The studio is sanitized between each class, and Lee is CPR and First Aid certified.
