A different kind of camp
Camps at Day Joy Studio are designed for kids who resist structure, love to learn by exploring mediums autonomously, and enjoy a smaller group of classmates. We never have more than 8 students in the studio during this time, and we focus on playing and creating in community with a common goal in mind; to connect with earth and art and joy through sustainable crafting.
Day Joy Studio is based in seeing the joy in every day. Camps here are about connecting to joy through art, be it music, accessories, or paper mache. The process makes the art, and we’re here for the process.
Fall 2026
school off-day camps
November 23-25

School is out for the week!!
Celebrate harvest season at the studio with this three-day camp about art, nature, and how the two go hand-in-hand. We will explore creating with natural materials, and, as always, how to use our own recycled materials to create anything our minds can dream up!
October 9th

Late Pick Up Option until 6 pm
It’s an admin day at school!!
Join us in the studio instead for a full day of crafting fun. We’ll explore mixed media and process art in this day-camp with a big focus on creating freely with very few lines to draw in.
December 21-23

Join us in the studio for a three full days of crafting fun. We’ll explore mixed media and process art in this camp with a big focus on creating freely with very few lines to draw in. We will also focus on making hand-crafted gifts for loved ones, but no sneak peaks here ;)
Things to Know

Summer camp fees are refundable if cancellation is made 14 days or more before camp begins, less a 10% cancellation fee. After 14 days prior, camp fees are non-refundable.

Drop off beings at 8:45 am and campers should be picked up by 1:15 pm. Extended pick-up is available until 2 pm for a $15 fee.

You will be sent a waiver upon registering for camp that will include space to disclose all allergies or necessary medical information. Lee is CPR and First Aid certified.
