A different kind of camp
Camps at Day Joy Studio are designed for kids who resist structure, love to learn by exploring mediums autonomously, and enjoy a smaller group of classmates. We never have more than 8 students in the studio during this time, and we focus on playing and creating in community with a common goal in mind; to connect with earth and art and joy through sustainable crafting.
Day Joy Studio is based in seeing the joy in every day. Camps here are about connecting to joy through art, be it music, accessories, or paper mache. The process makes the art, and we’re here for the process.
In summer and fall of 2026, we will be hosting day and week-long camps during school breaks and off-days. Each camp will have an individual focus, and will always leave space for free play and autonomous exploration for students to flow with their creativity however feels the most inspiring.
Camps take place from 9 am - 1pm, and are hosted by Lee Diamond, the owner and operator of Day Joy Studio. Late pick-up is available for an additional fee.

SUMMER CAMPS -
Spend a week getting chaotic and crafty at Day Joy Studio! In this camp, we will be exploring the art of sustainable crafting using recycled and second hand materials to create anything our minds can dream up. Using methods such as collage, paper mache, sculpting, mixed media and more we will find inspiration in our shared experiences, the natural world, and the brilliance of imagination to make unique and exciting art.
July 21st - 24th

Ages 6-12
Join us for jewelry camp, a week of jewelry making using polymer clay, beading, and up-cycled second-hand pieces. In this four-day camp students will learn the technical process of designing and creating their own rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and broaches.
June 29th - July 2nd
Ages 6-10

Four Days of 3D art! Join us for sculpture camp where we will spend the week exploring different mediums of sculpture such as polymer clay, air dry clay, and different methods of paper-mache.

Things to Know

Summer camp fees are refundable if cancellation is made 14 days or more before camp begins, less a 10% cancellation fee. After 14 days prior, camp fees are non-refundable.

Drop off beings at 8:45 am and campers should be picked up by 1:15 pm. Extended pick-up is available until 2 pm for a $15 fee.

You will be sent a waiver upon registering for camp that will include space to disclose all allergies or necessary medical information. Lee is CPR and First Aid certified.
